It is a type of pelvic ultrasound used by doctors to examine female reproductive organs. This includes the uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, cervix, and vagina. A transvaginal ultrasound can give you a look at your reproductive organs, including your uterus and ovaries. It can also be checked if your ovaries have not formed any unexpected cyst that may disrupt your treatment.
